Ingredients
  

  • 1 dragon fruit pitaya
  • 2 tangerines, peeled and divided into segments
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 4 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 table spoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup milk dairy or plant-based, such as almond or coconut milk
  • 1 cup crushed ice

Method
 

  1. Cut the fruit in half and scoop out the inside, saving a few slices for garnish.
  2. Combine the dragon fruit flesh, tangerine pieces, lime juice, basil leaves, brown sugar, milk, and crushed ice in a blender. Blend until it’s smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste the mixture and add more brown sugar if you want it sweeter.
  4. Pour it into glasses and top with the saved dragon fruit slices. Drink it immediately for the best taste!
