  • 2 Medium apples (I prefer to use green apples for that tartness,but any variety will work)
  • 1 cup milk (whichever milk you prefer, dairy orplant-based)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (how sweet your drink is will depend onyour taste)
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon (to taste)
  • Several ice cubes (optional, if you want your milkshakecold)
  • ¼ Teaspoon vanilla extract (optional if you want a little more flavor)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Apples: Begin by washing and peeling the apples. You can slice these orchop them into chunks to make blending easier. Core and seed it, too.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the chopped apples to a blender and add milk of your choice.If you’re making a milk-based fruit shake, this is where the fun starts!Sweeten the shake in a natural way by adding in a little bit of honey or maplesyrup and finally, adding a hint of cinnamon for that warm, spicy taste. Ifusing vanilla extract, now is the time to stir it in.
  3. Ice: To make it chill andslushy, just add in a handful of ice cubes. This will make your apple milkshakesmooth and frosty.
  4. Blend Until Smooth: Process all the ingredients together on high for about 30 seconds,or until well-combined and the texture is smooth.
  5. Serve: Now, serve the applemilkshake in a tall glass and enjoy! Add a dusting of cinnamon to the top or athin slice of apple for a pretty finish.
